This Privacy Policy describes how Gridmatic (“Gridmatic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website, apply for access, or use our automated trading software and operation services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Gridmatic provides subscription-based automated crypto grid-trading software together with a done-for-you setup and operation service. We set up and run trading bots on your own exchange account. We are the controller responsible for your personal information under this policy. For any privacy question, contact us at emilioalv@cryptobotaccelerator.com or +1 (480) 406-2026. Our mailing address is Gridmatic, 2221 West Farmdale Ave, Unit 7, Mesa, AZ 85202.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
Information you give us
- Identity and contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and country of residence when you apply, book a call, or sign up.
- Application and onboarding details: information you share so we can determine fit and set up your account, such as your capital tier and investment objectives.
- Billing information: the details needed to process your subscription. Card and payment data are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by Gridmatic.
- Exchange API credentials: the API key and secret you generate on your exchange so we can place trades on your behalf. See Section 6 for how we treat these.
- Support communications: the contents of emails and messages you send us.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Trading and performance data: the activity, profit, Cash-Flow, and reinvestment figures generated by the bots running on your account, which we use to manage and report on your Services.
Information from third parties
- Data from your connected exchange (through the API access you grant), and limited information from our payment processor confirming the status of your subscription.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, set up, and manage the Services for you.
- Place and manage trades on your connected exchange account.
- Process your subscription and send billing communications.
- Produce your account views and monthly reports on Cash-Flow and reinvestment.
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you.
- Improve and secure the Services, including detecting and preventing fraud and abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Send you service updates and, where permitted, relevant marketing. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the Services you have signed up for and to bill you.
- Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and improve the Services, and to communicate with you, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: for optional cookies and certain marketing, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation: to meet our accounting, tax, and compliance duties.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Services:
- Service providers (processors): payment processing, cloud hosting, email delivery, customer support, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Your exchange: we interact with your exchange account using the API access you grant, to execute the Services.
- Legal and safety: where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gridmatic, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your direction: where you ask us to share information.
6. Your exchange and API keys
Your funds never leave your own exchange account. We connect to your account using API keys configured with trade permissions only. We do not request, and you should not grant, withdrawal permissions. We store API credentials using industry-standard encryption and use them solely to operate the Services. You can revoke our API access from your exchange at any time, which immediately stops our ability to trade on your account.
The bots place trades automatically on your own account based on parameters you accept. This automated processing does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you as an individual within the meaning of applicable data protection law. If you have questions about how the automation uses your data, contact us.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. Strictly necessary cookies are always active. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site functions. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as you are a client and for as long afterward as we need it to meet legal, accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Retention periods vary by data type and applicable law.
9. How we protect your data
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption of credentials, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant regulators where the law requires, within the timeframes the law sets. If exchange API credentials are ever affected, we will tell you so you can revoke and regenerate them.
10. International data transfers
We operate internationally and may process your information in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, the United Kingdom, or other regions with transfer restrictions, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or rely on another lawful transfer mechanism.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. If you are in Canada, your rights under PIPEDA include access to and correction of your information. To exercise any right, email emilioalv@cryptobotaccelerator.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
12. US state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact emilioalv@cryptobotaccelerator.com. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
13. Children’s privacy
The Services are for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Third-party links
Our site and communications may link to third-party services such as your exchange or our payment processor. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We encourage you to review them.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Services and the law evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
